Each clue he uncovers brings him both closer to the killer and further from the grasp of his superiors' tolerance for his relentless methods. The atmosphere of distrust grows thicker as Shaw narrows down the suspects. With danger lurking around every corner, Shaw must confront not only external threats but also the internal demons haunting him if he hopes to bring an end to the reign of terror before it shatters everything he holds dear.
