Director: Mathieu Kassovitz
Actors: Halle Berry, Penélope Cruz, Robert Downey Jr.
PlotDr. Miranda Grey, a respected criminal psychologist, works at a mental institution, devoting her life to understanding and treating the minds of female patients accused of violent crimes. Her reality takes a dark turn one stormy night after she encounters a mysterious girl on a bridge. Grey wakes up to find herself a patient in her own facility, with no memory of the events that led her there. She's been accused of brutally murdering her husband, the institution's administrator, a crime she can't remember committing. Trapped in a nightmare, Grey struggles to piece together her fragmented memories, convinced her sanity is intact despite everyone around her believing otherwise.
As Grey delves deeper into her own mind and the eerie occurrences that surround her, she begins to unravel a chilling connection between herself, the ghostly encounters in the institution, and a sinister plot that lies beneath the surface. Alongside her is a fellow patient who seems to understand more about her situation than meets the eye. Determined to prove her innocence and uncover the truth, Grey embarks on a frightening journey that blurs the lines between reality and paranoia, questioning not only her own sanity but the very fabric of what she believes to be true. The deeper she digs, the more she realizes that escaping the nightmare will require confronting horrors far beyond her understanding.
