21 Jump Street

Director: Phil Lord, Christopher Miller
Actors: Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum, Ice Cube
PlotTwo former high school classmates, Schmidt and Jenko, each with their own shortcomings yet complementary skills, find themselves joining the police force together and becoming partners. Despite their enthusiasm for busting criminals, their lack of skill results in an embarrassing arrest blunder. As a consequence, they are reassigned to an undercover unit located at 21 Jump Street. This division is headed by the stern and imposing Captain Dickson, who instructs the pair to pose as high school students in order to infiltrate a school and crack down on a new synthetic drug that's been circulating among the students.
Schmidt and Jenko are tasked with finding the supplier and halting the spread of the drug before it reaches other schools. They enter the high school with a cover story, but they quickly find that the adolescent world has changed significantly since their own school days. The jock and the nerd struggle to fit into the current high school hierarchy and navigate teenage life while maintaining their adult responsibilities. As the investigation deepens, the two officers forge connections with certain students, which complicates their mission and tests the limits of their partnership.
