PlotAn alien criminal named Boris the Animal escapes from a maximum-security prison on the moon, seeking vengeance on Agent K, who shot off his arm and captured him in 1969. Boris travels back in time to kill the younger Agent K, which would allow his species to successfully invade Earth since K was responsible for setting up a defense network that protected the planet from their attack. In the present day, Agent J learns of his partner's death in the past, which only he remembers due to being exposed to time-travel waves.
Agent J travels back in time to 1969 to save his partner and the future. He encounters the younger Agent K, who is initially suspicious but eventually teams up with J to stop Boris and save the Earth's future. As they work together, J learns more about K’s history and the origins of their relationship, as well as the secrets behind the protective shield around Earth. With the fate of humanity at stake, the two agents face a race against time to alter history and outwit a deadly adversary.
