Plot

In the sleepy town of Riverton, a terrifying legend looms. It is said that a serial killer, who was killed the same night seven children were born, vowed to return and murder each of the children once they turned 16. The killer, despite being dead, seems to cast a long shadow over the town, leaving its residents in a perpetual state of fear and suspicion. As the seven children, now on the cusp of their 16th birthday, grapple with the legend, strange occurrences begin to unfold, suggesting that the killer's soul might have found a way to return.

On the eve of their shared birthday, the teenagers are thrust into a fight for survival, as they are targeted one by one. Amidst this, Adam "Bug" Hellerman, who struggles with his own identity and fears, discovers that he has a unique connection to the killer. This revelation forces him to confront not only the dark history of the town but also his own past and identity. As the line between reality and legend blurs, Bug must piece together the puzzle before he becomes the final victim of the curse that has plagued Riverton.

'My Soul to Take' is atrociously soulless, with its only saving grace being decent Blu-ray quality. Skip it.
