PlotA washed-up action star finds himself at the end of his rope in his personal and professional life. He returns to his hometown in Belgium in an attempt to find some semblance of normalcy away from the chaos of Hollywood. Struggling with custody battles and fighting a losing battle against age and a tarnished reputation, he seeks solace in the quiet streets of his childhood. However, peace eludes him as he quickly becomes embroiled in an intense and unexpected situation.
During a routine visit to the post office, he becomes a hostage in a robbery gone awry. Without his on-screen bravado or scripts to guide him, he is now in the middle of a dangerous standoff between the nervous robbers and the police. With public perception clouded by his fading star persona, the lines between reality and his action roles begin to blur, as the people outside the bank become increasingly fascinated by the involvement of a fading action star in a real-life crisis.
