VFW
Director: Joe Begos
Actors: Stephen Lang, William Sadler, Fred Williamson
PlotA group of aging veterans, spending their days sharing war stories at their local VFW post, unwittingly find themselves at the center of a violent showdown when a desperate young woman bursts in. The woman, fleeing from a psychotic drug dealer and his relentless gang of punk mutants, is in possession of a coveted stash of drugs that the dealer will stop at nothing to retrieve. The VFW post, now a fortress, becomes the unlikely battleground for the veterans who must draw upon their military skills to protect the woman and defend their haven.
As the night descends, the vets, including the grizzled barkeep and a combat-weary soldier, rally together, locking down the bar and arming themselves with an arsenal of weaponry. With the drug dealer's savage army besieging the post, a vicious battle ensues, forcing the veterans to tap into their survival instincts and combat experience. The siege becomes not only a fight for the woman's safety but a brutal confrontation with their mortality, as the old soldiers wage a relentless, blood-soaked last stand against a faceless enemy in the ultimate fight for survival.
