Dajun, a young boy, lives in an isolated house with his mother on a cold and foggy night. During one such night, as they prepare to leave for a safer place due to the eerie occurrences in their home, Dajun's mother suddenly disappears. Terrified and alone, Dajun struggles to find his mother while experiencing a series of inexplicable supernatural events. Years later, Dajun is now an adult and returns to the same house with his girlfriend, Xiaoling, to move on from his childhood traumas. The house, however, retains its creepy ambiance, and unsettling incidents start happening again.

As they try to settle in, they encounter a ghostly presence that reveals snippets of mysterious and disturbing memories. These paranormal events force Dajun to confront the secrets of his past and the truth behind his mother's disappearance. Haunted by ghostly occurrences and cryptic clues, Dajun and Xiaoling must piece together the fragmented horror of what transpired years ago in hopes of finding closure and escaping the lingering evil that plagues them.
