In Edinburgh, three friends—Juliet, David, and Alex—share a flat and are in search of a new roommate after conducting a series of bizarre interviews. They eventually settle on Hugo, who moves in but is soon found dead in his room by his flatmates, having apparently died of a drug overdose. Alongside his body, they discover a suitcase full of money. Conflicted but ultimately swayed by greed, the trio decides to keep the cash.
