PlotBeth, a recently widowed schoolteacher, grapples with immense grief following the unexpected suicide of her husband, Owen. Living alone in the secluded lakeside home he built, she attempts to make sense of his shocking death. Struggling to find answers, Beth begins to experience strange occurrences. Nightly disturbances and unsettling visions hint at a deeper presence in the house. While sorting through his belongings, she discovers mysterious blueprints with hints at a reverse floor plan of their house and unsettling clues suggesting Owen might have led a double life.
Determined to unravel the truth, Beth delves deeper into her husband's secrets, finding an uncanny connection to the supernatural. She uncovers photographs of unknown women on Owen’s phone and learns chilling details about his past through conversations with friends and neighbors. As she digs further, strange and eerie phenomena intensify, drawing Beth into a haunting mystery intertwined with her very own existence. Her journey leads her to question the boundaries between reality and illusion, forcing her to confront not only her husband's enigmatic life but also her own perceptions of love, loss, and self-deception. The house holds terrifying secrets, pushing Beth closer to the edge of sanity as she seeks closure in an increasingly disturbing situation.
