In a reimagined 1930s England, amidst a backdrop of military machinery and fascist symbolism, Richard, the Duke of Gloucester, seeks to seize the throne. His machinations begin with the assassination of his brother, King Edward IV, and continue as he marries the widow Lady Anne to secure his power.
