On the eve of D-Day, a group of American paratroopers is dropped behind enemy lines with a mission crucial to the invasion's success: destroy a German radio jamming tower in a small town near the beaches of Normandy. As they approach their target, their plane is shot down, and the surviving soldiers, including Private First Class Boyce and explosives expert Corporal Ford, find themselves scattered across the French countryside.
